Authority & Cosmic Breath
How is it that even when we breathe, we don’t necessarily trust nature? We ask breathwork teachers to teach us how to breathe, even though our bodies deeply know how. We ask teachers about meditation, even though true presence cannot be systematized in any way. We look for guidance all the time, instead of allowing ourselves to move naturally. Everyone wants to teach, guide, coach and serve. Yet it often becomes cult like, forced or transactional.
In this audio I tell the story of how I deconstructed all of reality in a Vipassana retreat and how it triggered fear in the teachers around me who upheld the system. I talk about how teachers and teachings became noise when I started to truly surrender to nature. Because nature cannot really be taught or capitalized in any way. It cannot be systematized or transferred. It is what is always moving us, and any system that teaches otherwise is at best a tool and at worst a cult.
This audio is absolutely gold if you struggle with authority.
Remember who you are. And who you are not.
